Relay Testing and Commissioning Intermediate is an interactive seminar designed to teach relay technicians and electrical systems commissioner’s new techniques and approaches to protective relay testing and protection systems commissioning. The course is aimed at personnel with between 2 and 5 years of related experience and may provide benefits for personnel with fewer or greater years of experience. The course combines in-class lecture, group activities, guided instruction and a hands-on lab. The lab is highly interactive, as it gives participants the opportunity to review the equipment that would normally be used to protect and control electrical power systems. The lab stations contain a sample relay, breaker simulator, and relay test set.
