Qualus Expert Helps Shape New Edition of Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers

Qualus is proud to recognize Jose Daconti, Senior Principal Engineer, for contributing to the newly released 18th Edition of McGraw-Hill's Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers (SHEE), one of the most respected and widely referenced resources in the electrical engineering profession. 

First published in 1907, the Standard Handbook for Electrical Engineers has served as a trusted technical reference for generations of engineers. Updated every five to seven years, the handbook reflects significant advancements in electrical engineering technologies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements, making contributor selection a notable professional achievement.  

Daconti is a lead contributor to the 76-page section, Alternating-Current Power Transmission, alongside industry experts from organizations including Electrical Consulting Engineers, CTC Global, Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), Power Line Systems, and fellow IEEE members.  

The 18th Edition addresses many of the technologies and topics shaping the future of the power industry, including smart grid modernization, renewable energy integration, power system analysis, and electric machines.
